The Why

OUR STUDY

The KABB study’s purpose is to improve the engagement of Hispanic/Latino/x cancer patients in cancer genomics research. We propose to assess the educational and communication needs of Hispanic/Latinx patients with colorectal cancer with respect to participation in cancer genomics research. We plan to use this information to improve patient engagement materials currently used by the Patient Engagement Unit

WHAT IS INVOLVED IN THIS STUDY

Participants in this study will answer questions about:

● Knowledge about genomic information
● Attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors related to participation in genomics research.
● Demographic characteristics

All answers will be anonymous

Who can participate?

This study is recruiting Hispanic colorectal cancer patients, older than 18 years old.
